symptoms of failed cam sprocket? If your cam timing went to zero, thats most likely not a failed sprocket...

Just loud rattle at decell but car is still making power. Believe it is the VTC components inside the sprocket.

the power will be way off and very right shifted is the VTC sprocket wasn't working.

Easy enough to diagnose though, just log cam timing. Its its jumpy on decel (should be 0 degrees), thats where the noise is coming from

This build was the greatest thread I've ever read through. Curious on the 06 cluster to the 03. How'd you do it? I would love to stick that beautiful cluster in my car

You have to buy an 06 cluster and take all of its parts and put it in a 03-04 housing. There is a thread on here some where on how to do it.

I was reading that you have to change the wiring or something like that? I can't find any successful DIY's. Oh and does the mileage calibrate to what is on my car? I don't wanna lose my 49k

You will have to make a cross over harness because the pin out is different between the clusters. Mileage stays with the cluster not car.

Well im finally back home Now its time to start tearing into the timing and fix my issue. Hopefully I can have it done by next weekend and I will get to see what 590rwhp feels like. Then it is off to get the tuning complete.
