Boosted G35x Sedan

Just wondering if there are any turbo or supercahrged auto G35x sedan's out there and if the tranny/awd system can handle it. Also if the awd system from a fx35 or 45 is interchangeable or stronger.

I have searched and found a few boosted rwd sedan but I am wondering about the awd auto sedans as I am thinking about trading my coupe

you'd need a custom kit as none to my knowledge fit on a X.

G-Mony has one with a JWT 530 kit on it. I think it's for sale for like 20k or so with a built engine.

I also have a boosted G35x sedan but mine is actually an STS rearmount setup. It's pretty unusual and is going under the knife a little more this summer to reroute some piping over the front axle. From talking to a couple shops (including the one that tuned my car) it seems to be the consensus that a conservative number to stay under for the AWD and Auto trans seems to be about 350 pound feet of torque. So, with that in mind I'm shooting for about high 300's HP and mid 300's TQ, .

I believe the reason their aren't more out there is because of issues with the transfer cases.

thanks for the info, I was wondering what the limit for the awd system was. Would you happen to know if the fx45 transfer case is stronger or interchangable

So a supercharger or a laggy turbo setup maybe the best route

My train of thought as well but... ATTESA E-TS is a robust system ? I know of no way of reprogramming the front diff but after 21 mph is it all rwd anyway? Pull a fuse or wire in a switch ? Some of the Evo and Subie guys said something about getting a carbon fiber prop shaft made as far as FX 45's vs 35's xfer case Im willing to bet there the same/ motors are different not the trannys though so I assume same for xfer case / swap out to a better ATF fluid and change interval the R33 & R34 skylines came turboed from the factory with a similar ATTESA system so its doable.

ok so I was talking to someone that installed a vortec supercharger on a 2005 G35x sedan running 13psi and said the tranny held up fine for 7months till the chager itself starting going bad.

The is good to hear although a supercharger won't put out the same kinda tq as a twin t28 turbo setup on a 07hr
