Forced Induction Oil Selection

I'm installing a turbonetics kit on my G, just wondering what kinds of oil people have been using that's both great for the turbo and engine.. Thanks

I've used Mobil1 synt 5-30, 5-40 and 10-30 for my Greddy twin turbo with stock VQ35DE.
My best friend uses Castrol Synt Edge for years with his 94 300ZX TT and his G35 with JWT 700BB turbo. Since Castrol is Group IV, I'm switching to Castrol Edge on my next oil change.
Take care
Ned

+1 on Mobil 1 0W-40. At 72k on my engine (20k boosted), my UOA still comes back clean.

I used motul for most of the time. My car was boosted for about 80k and drifted on heavy. Never lost oil.

Motul always gave me mediocre UOA. Mobil1 15W-50 was worse. Eneos 0W-50 was worse still.

Very good options: Mobil 1 0W-40, Mobil1 TDT 5W-40 or Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 (UOA pending on these last 2 for me but numerous others with positive UOA reported)

As far as I know, the only group 4 that Castrol has in the States is Syntec 0w30 European Formula, which I've been using for a while now. Since I'm boosted now I switched over to Motul X-cess 8500 5w40.

For the mobil 1 why run 0w40 if our cars state 5w30? i am trying to decide on a oil now that i am boosted. it seems like mobil 1 and amsoil is what most people recommend.
