Going rate for install of GTM Stage 2 TT (Turn Key) DE kit
Just trying to feel out how much it will likely cost to have this turbo kit installed.
I suppose it would vary depnding upon the hourly rate of whoever does the work but lets say the average is 85$ an hour. Also considering there are no instructions for this either. How long/much should it cost. This kit also is pre-tuned, so no need for the dyno yet....
I have all the parts just wanting a close estimate as to what i should expect as this is my first car to go FI.....

depends on the shop, the right way is to pull the engine, that 14 hrs book time, plus say 5 for the swapping of manifols, fuel pump, injectors, piping, etc. gauges.
so maybe 20 hrs.
going rates in the bay were as low as 2k up to 3500.

well thats the bay, everything cost the most here, so 85 and hr times 18 hrs is a lot less.
than here, plus thats just book time,
i think if you dont do it right, with out pulling the engine you can save maybe 6-8hrs off that.

not fitment, its just almost impossible to get a accurate torquewrench in the tights spaces, so you can get everything tight but to make it all legit its the hard part,
a lot of shops wouldnt do it that way, because if you get a leak and over boost, then boom there goes the engine.
there are a lot of people on this forum that has done it with out pulling the engine, in their drive way, like accord freak and they are doing just fine,
its just a matter of detail how you want to do it

I did my own Greddy kit with the engine still in the car but i did have a lift so that made it a little easier but it was still a b!tch. Its been 5 years an only one problem was a leaky oil line.If you do not have a lot of auto repair exp or mechanical ability dont try this yoursef and i would call GTM for some install directions.

If you have some mechanical ability its really not that bad to install these. Just make sure you have a lot of tools.
