What are your power goals? The VQ does not make great power NA to begin with. I think the end result is going to be a high revving VQ that still makes not that great power and is still slow. Your car is sick and I'm sure there are better ways to spend the money vs doing an NA build.

Exclamation

This is a great looking car! Those rims have a sick look!

My 2 cents:

1- If you are looking for some power for fun (325-375WHP).
2-You are on a budget.

You should think on a FI kit (T, TT, SC) that meet your budget and power goals.
You can keep stock internals and is bolt on = easy installation = save money and time.

Good Luck!

Your car is gorgeous. Buy an AP1 S2000 instead and spin it up to 9000rpm. You'll end up spending less and won't have to worry about reliability issues. That's what it was made for. Just my opinion...

So, we are looking at other ideas. It's doable without the Dailey pump, but we won't know reliability of it until it's done. At that point, we will go back and look into the dry sump.

Like I said, this is in its baby stages. The head is done, but still debating if I want to go through with this til the end so all opinions and input is needed - I'll also give my thoughts in return.

I will be asking for help and input as I progress though!! And thanks for the comments so far!!
I would run a less aggressive wheel and tire setup so you can hook up the rears and then throw some twins on the bish and call it a day. At the rate you are going it will be cheaper and trust me the VQ will sing with that set up.

you'll be happy w/the new tone after cams, make sure they use HR buckets or other DLC coated ones too.
