Think I'm more excited about the wheels than the engine build.
I had totally underestimated how much is involved in getting that perfect stance / flush fit... Good luck with the build!
I was paying a lot of attention over in the Tires for FI thread over on Z... a lot of awesome info there.

I read through the same thread.
that is of course if 18" will even clear my BBK.The 888s are supposed to be grippy as fvck but pretty limited tread life. i found the Nitto Invos hook surprisingly well if you guys are looking for a longer lasting street tire.

Maybe cause you have more weight in your rear end. (no homo) LOL I recommended the BFG KDW to one owner and he loved them over the Invos. I guess to each their own.

My set cost $1400 with express shipping from TireDirect.com. I don't think that bad for 19's and 265/30 & 305/30's.
Not bad for cost but you will go through them 2:1 vs a set of 300 tread wear street tires. I actually don't put that many miles on my car so it might not be that bad.
Anyway let us know what you think of them and how long they last I might get a set I have two pairs or 305/30 invos to go through first though.

And like you mentioned, I'm hoping to by a second car so it won't see the milage as fast as as previous tires.
So an update on my build....
First I ordered '06+ Bi-Xenon headlights from 350ZSource and they don't stock them, they drop ship with no ETA. Cancel that order and found them at Courtesy Nissan. They are being shipped directly to LightWerkz for painting and other upgrades.
Went ahead and order the tires from TireDirect.com; Toyo R888 265/30/19 & 305/30/19. Being shipped to EVS Motors so they can be mounted/balanced on their new Hunter Road Force GSP9700 Balancer.
Spoke with PowerFab and still waiting on the engine to get back from G&G and IPP. The Tein coil overs should be deleivering soon and, of course, still waiting on the HalTech Plug-In Pro. Lastly, PowerFab saw a timing chain failure so we're going to replace that while we have the engine out & opened.
Everything is falling into place slowly. Now if I can just have the Iraq Gov't grant us Visas so I can get home everything would be perfect!!!
