I read the article that R&T did on three forced induction 350Z and one NA 350. The times you posted were from that article only you had the Greddy TT and S/C times backwards (Greddy was 5.1 and S/C was 5.2 and 5.3). Just for everyones info the NA 350 by Motorex was 5.2 sec and 0.1 secs behind the S/C on the 1/4 mile (This is what careful consideration to weight, tire size and balance will do). The problem comparing this to the Crossfire is that it was at different temperatures on a different road at different altitudes. Also the 350Z's (all four of them) were tested shortly after the release of the car which does not give nearly enough time to maximum performance and set up. I saw a latter test on the Greddy 350Z that had 0-60 closer to 4.8 and a much faster 1/4 mile time which is more in line with the hp claims and the added weight
Now just for my honest opinion... I would put the reliability of a modified G or Z up against the reliability of the crossfire any day, not ot mention I think they are ugly. Now any true sports car should be able to handle the track (any idiot can make a car go fast in a straight line for much cheaper than any of the cars mentioned here).. i which case the M3 beats us again. Don't get me wrong I love the G but the M is worth the extra money and the new one will be closing in on 400 hp and a few hundred pounds lighter than the G, even modified G's will need to watch out.
