Trans mods for FI cars

I was looking at gettting a G35 coupe and was wandering what transmission mods people are doing to handle the HP and TQ of FI G35s. I havent decided between a stick or auto but how much they can be upgraded to handle high HP daily driving is a factor.

If you're going to aim at 500+hp then you should have the transmission rebuild to handle the HP and TQ.same goes with stick or auto.contact Tim at speed force racing for more infos. (619)328-4012.they located in san diego.there's place call levelten back east also doing this type of work.

well for manual, you're going to need the basic esentials such as clutch, flywheel, etc. If you have an automatic, i doubt your tranny will be able to hold a lot of boost, u'll need an upgraded auto tranny with new parts such as the torque converter. Level 10 does them but i haven't heard a good thing about their products yet.

I currently have the Stillen valve body upgrade with my Vortech s/c. It made quite a difference. With the stock tranny, I would experience slipping after several hard runs. The VB upgrage improved crispness. Sometimes it's rather rough shifting from 1-2 and 2-1, but the rest of the shifts seem stock.

Is a valve body and TQ converters the only upgrades for the auto that are out there now. I dont see any companies making uprated clutch packs, etc other then level10 and i wont buy anything from them.

Any particular reason? I had great results with Level10 products on my domestics.
