Vortech Supercharger for 5AT
Yeah I plan to install the shift kit anyways and get whatever else is "MANDATORY" for a SC like gauges coolants etc. Your 100% sure it will fit? I tried to contact X man but no reply yet who else has a SC X sedan? So I can just buy a V3 vortech and get whoever knows what their doing to install it? SO does that mean if I do get FI Im looking to spend 8000+ for everything including install? Does that sounds about right?
What do you mean "install the transgo shift kit or get a really good tune"?
Those two things are independent of each other.
If doing a Vortech on an auto, I would recommend an external transmission cooler and a Transgo kit.

04 vortech here so I can not speak about fitment, but I can put in my .02 on the tranny since mine is also an auto. If you are not going to be ripping on it time and time again the stock should be alright. If I am hard on mine for a couple minutes I then give it a break to cool the tranny back down. If you are going to track it, then yes, modify the tranny. Otherwise I think you should be fine. Just always use the manual mode when getting on the throttle or it won't know what to do. Usually I am driving around in auto mode because I am not too heavy footed.

also did you need to get the transgo shift kit?
With a SC is it worth having the standard bolt ons? I.E. Z-Tube, Plenum Spacer, headers, etc; I'm looking to pick up another G as a DD... 335 is hella unreliable and has been a massive headache. Don't want to drop 20K doing a TT build the right way so a SC is the next best thing. I don't want to purchase anything extra that will be replaced or obsolete.
^A free flowing exhaust setup will always help (headers, straight pipes...etc). I doubt you'll notice any difference from a plenum spacer with a SC installed, I put one on to help out before the turbos spool but I didn't feel anything different, but if money isn't an issue then why not. Breather mods will help increase the potential of the SC but there's only so far you can go with a stock block.
I was looking into an IPP Level2 built engine since this car will no doubt have higher mileage on it since it will be bought outright and serve as a daily then evolve into a project car. I still gotta pay for this other piece of crap. Shld have stuck with the Japanese...
