Vortech Supercharger for 5AT

Searched high and low, over and under but can't find any good info on the subject.
Can the vortech S/C be installed on an 07 G coupe 5AT? on their site they say the 07 sedan 5at needs to be modified for mechanical fan but no info on the coupe. any input and insight would be appreciated.

I would thank that if it is compatible with a 06 5MT it would be for a 07. There are no differences in those years for the coupe.

But if a company can't even give an answer on what cars it works on I'm not too sure I'd want it anyway.

The reason the company may or may not know what it fits is they haven't personally worked with that car. If they haven't seen the differences between the 06-07, then how would they know? Better to say "we're not sure" than say "oh, yeah, why not... sure it'll fit."

I would assume the 06-07 are the same for the G coupe.... very few changes between these years, none at the front of the motor that I'm aware of. But, you might want to ask some other 5at 07 owners and see what they say. That's where I would start. As long as the radiator, fans, and all the bolt patterns/pulleys on the front of the block are the same as the '06, there shouldn't be too much else to worry about. That's where all the piping runs, and the blower bracket(s) bolt.

You can also double check things by looking online at parts catalogs and making sure things like the water pump, belt size, and oil pan/oil pan gasket size are the same between 06-07. Those would be my two biggest concerns if I was unsure about it all.

I have the Vortech V3 on my 07 5AT. It was an easy install. Just specify that you have the DE motor, not the REVUP.

yes it will, however after a lot of research... your tranny will hate you. you may need to install the transgo shift kit or get a really good tune.

No, what he needs to do is a lot more research on this forum, and this forum: http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction-182/

95% of your questions can be answered by a search, and about an hour of reading.
