Vortech - Replaced Cog Belt, Now Lower PSI

Sunday night, I was out and giving a friend a ride in my car. Did a First, Second, Third pull. At the top of third I heard the belt snap. I ordered the Gates 600 8MGT 20 Belt replacement. I installed that today, without issue.

Before the belt snapped around 6,500RPM, I was hitting 7-9lbs of boost.

Now I am hitting 5-6lbs of boost max. The car still seems to feel like it has a similar amount of WHP/WTQ.

Any thoughts of what I should check?

Thanks,

Johnny

From: Waltham Ma,
Yea what where you htting before 7-9 or was that just before the belt snapped? Was the kit set up for 5-6 or 7 PSI, The only thing I can think of is check the vacum lines and checl the bypass valve?
