I reckon go for the higher comp ratio ( 9.3:1) and develop a nicer power curve across the entire rpm range, improved off boost partial throttle power also with the higher comp ratio

No problem at all with good rods and pistons, I've seen over 500 WHP on a dead stock VQ engine though for reliability reasons forged internals should be considered mandatory at around 400 + WHP.

On 91 octane fuel well this would be a real challenge, maybe it's doable. I'd much prefer to run 93 octane fuel at 500 WHP particularly when using the car in high ambient conditions.

Well I'm confident if 500 WHP on 91 octane fuel is possible the guys at SGP will prevail, maybe a second ignition map for 91 octane fuel might be the way to proceed (a safe ignition timing map for lower octane fuel at a lower power level) and then another ignition timing map for the higher power and when utilising 93 octane fuel

Thanks

Yes this is still correct g3po. APS will attempt to obtain a CARB EO order when the G35 TT system is 100% complete, APS will then start the CARB EO testing process.

Thanks

It's been said many times, just because the JWT kit is targeting 400hp to the crank doesn't mean that's all it will push. They claim that around 330ish to the wheels is the safest to run the car for a long time. So if you want to build the motor they said they would have reflashes to turn up the boost. So don't count them out just because you hear 330 to the wheels.
