I see a lot of Vortech owners (including myself) that are on a quest for this mythical piece. I know there are a bunch of threads in many forums in regards to this with most of them ending up with, "have one custom made".

Sometimes they are spotted in the market place, but lately sightings have been very seldom.

There have been rumors of these being massed produced again, but I have yet to find it to be true and some even say Vortech used to supply this with their kits long ago.

I also have posted WTB threads in both Driver and My350, with no luck. Most of the replies are others simply stating they would like one as well.

There has to be someone out there that either knows where to get these, has access to the jig or can make one to get these into production again. I do believe the demand is there...

I've included some pictures for reference in hopes to gain some ground with some help, so if you have any input, I know I myself along with others would be grateful As always, thanks guys!

I talked with Coz over at CZP. He said they could make them, but needs one to use as a template... Seeing how I do not have one... Anyone?

 

You could send him your current setup - then all that needs to be changed is placement for the MAF

then again, they may have found that keeping the MAF in the stock location worked best.

 

I am currently deployed overseas until mid-April and this all started when I came across one online and immediately wanted one. So the search for one began. (If I find one used before I return home that be wonderful)

A lot of dead ends later and realizing there where so many people wanting/looking to buy them with none for sale I figured I would try my best to see what I could do.

Worst case scenario I will have to have one made and I understand that. It is such a simplistic design with an obvious demand for it, it blew my mind they where so scarce.

 

Assaultech replied back and said they would look into it and see what they can do about having more made. We will see...

 

No dice so far guys... Most vendors would only order from a manufacturer via a part #. Again, seeing how nobody mass produces them... You get the idea.

A Vortech rep informed me they have only produced the 3 piece, so the rumor of the 1 piece that was once supplied with their earlier kits must no be true as they could not confirm, locate or provide me with a part #.

i know where you can get 10-20 made in about 1-2 weeks time but you got to have the money for it.

 

Boosted Performance could do it, he would likely require one to make a jig from. That and the fact I think he is pretty backed up with building turbo kits. He is 350Z T on here if I recall right.
