Vortech supercharger help!!

2005 Infiniti G35 coupe

Hey guys, I've had my vortech supercharger on for about 6 years but never maintenced it very well. It makes a loud squeaky noise when I turn it on and everytime I rep past 4, the car get a little jerky. Does anyone know what that could be? Also, does anyone know how much it would be to go back to stock without all the stock parts? Thanks.

Well, if you can find the stock parts on here it could help out on your labor cost if you can do the install yourself. The squeaky could be your belts. Not sure but if you can post a video maybe other can help out too.

You don't like the SC anymore?

haha, he has a vortech, stillen is of no use. belt squeal means it's loose. tighten it up (or get new belt) and you should be fine. You're probably experiencing slippage past 4K..ie, not building boost, which is why your power isn't there. once the squeal goes away, power should come back.
