Might want to look into the 350z rear fender flares. They have a nice cutout for the fuel door .

Project is looking good man. Seems to be big builds happening on all the VQ forums. It's a shame the past owner was some drugged out ******* that didn't give a f___ about the car. Now, it's in good hands that can be passed down to your son.

Think about my g35 often and the projects I did with her. Keep the pics/videos coming.

Heres the kicker, it has a damaged fender, headlight, cracked my hood, and broke the core support. Yet thats only about 2k max in car guys eyes, the insurance people said it was 8k. So I owed 6k on my car. They offered me 3.4k but, I have USAA. USAA offeres some protection to custom work done to your car. Since I have well over 25k in it, sent them my reciepts, and got back 8400 lol.

So I just bought some new Projector lights, Accuair management, UAS bags, Koyo Rad, just got my Haltech I bought before this crap. Its the best worst thing thats ever happend to me. DOMO

My car is at the schofield barracks auto hobby shop. Where soldiers are "authorized" to work on cars. Has a lift which is the most benefit. A guy changing his brakes had no clue what he was doing backed out and the brakes didn't work. He hit my car and the one beside me -_-

I'm not a FI guru (never had an FI car), however I have read here several times that there are plenty problems that must be sorted out if you go much above 500hp.

One of the biggest is head lift (as noted above) due to inadequate head bolts. The second and more obscure is cylinder vibrations at the contact surface of the head gasket. At very high HP, 700+, the cylinder walls start to vibrate back and forth and ruin the head gasket.

note the unsupported cylinder walls

This block is sleeved and had support for the upper cylinder walls.

Just something to think about.

While your at it, take a look at this 2000hp 3.5L VQ
