Vortech UniChip re-map

Hello Guys,

I am looking to purchase a used V2 for my RevUP 06. The kit is for a non-revup so I know I will need the plate and ecu. Instead of buying the piggy back for the revup is it possible to take the Unichip for the non-revup and re-map it for the revup ? And if so does anyone know how to go about doing this and would it cost less than buying the Unichip for the revup ?

Thanks in advance.

not directly answering your questions regarding uni-chip. but you're better off finding an UPREV tuner and going that route.

Assuming all the piping is the same, cost of plate, pulley, bolt and spacers, might be costly, hope you're getting a sick deal on the non-revup kit.

Thanks for the response and I will look into the uprev tuner.

The conversion of a non-rev up to revup is approximately $779 so I am thinking if I get the full non-revup kit for $1500 it might not be too bad.

Because a website called "superchargers online" is the best place to buy specialty forced induction parts for your G35... smh

Sorry it was just it was a random search to get average pricing. I am still piecing things together and will decide where my parts are purchased.

Ok so forget FMU and unichip. Seem the best way forward is 600cc injectors a high pressure pump and Uprev. Going to place a bid on the tuner kit and see what we can do. I was honestly leaning towards the FMU option just as a starting point and I also ran a JSRC on a civic for years using the stock fuel option which was an FMU setup.

yea, grab a walbro fuel pump, injectors and you should be set. Not many run on stock vortech pulley, many go to 1 size smaller to put you at 10lbs. Easier to do it once before tuning. Might want to consider a stage 0 fuel return as well. do it all now and safe the headache of multiple trips and retune
