OP to properly turbo a G you're looking at $10K or more with installation, tuning, supporting mods etc.

Wow I didn't expect it to be that much honestly. Guess I'll need to start looking how I can up my HP in other areas that's not so expensive.

I paid about 10k for my water cooled booster and supporting mods, just in parts not including tuning or install.

There is no other way to up your HP without spending several thousand on the VQ platform. NA mods (intake, exhaust, tune) will give you minimal results at best and still cost more than your 1k range. I paid around 2.5k on my G35 alone just for intake, plenum, high flow cats, exhaust and uprev tune, for about a 35hp gain.

with that budget, you're setting yourself up for some serious disappointment for modding on this platform.

Options:
- Uprev tun ($5-650), probably best money you can spend, but won't find it discounted
- Spend the other 60-70% of your budget on whatever else you can find in used parts.
-lowering spring ($125-150 used)
-k&n drop in filter and mayb a z-tube ($75 used)
-exhaust (hks replica for $350ish or $5-900 used name brand)
-back to the drawing board to make more money for a new car or FI

Maybe your mom drives a turbo RDX or something you can steal the turbo booster from.

If you really only want to spend $1000 I would do a plenum spacer, Z tube (OEM 350z intake pipe) with K&N filter, high flow cats, and Osiris tune.

BLOX spacer for $88 shipped off amazon
Z tube for $20 off craigslist if you're patient
K&N filter for $40 shipped off amazon.
Uprev Osiris standard $500
New spark plugs $60

That leaves you with $300 to pick up a set of high flow cats... Assuming you can do all the labor yourself. If you can't do the labor then skip the HFC. Won't make it stupid fast but it will be a much quicker and more fun.

This is what happens when you can buy a G for $6k ...toughen up Dan it's gonna be a long road to knowledge if you dont research your questions better ...I only say that because of how far off you were with this one ...put in the time searching ...or face the "fire" either way you'll eventually get it
