So I want to turbo charge my G35. Single boost yes I already know that twin boosting is better than a single boos that's doing the same hp because of the spool up time and smaller booster spool up faster than 1 big one. But with this in mind twin setup's are generally more expensive that others. I am really looking at spending no more than 1k-1.5k on this upgrade.Problem is I don't know what to really buy where to look the only one i have found cost 5k for the booster alone. Any tips suggestions on where to look what to look for brands for them any info on would be great. Looking for a water cooled booster by the way.

Yeah man you can buy a made in china eBay kit for $800. Probably the worst thing you could ever spend $800 on other than maybe a lap dance from a 90 year old nun

one of my old gt28RS turbos goes for 1k by itself. That budget for our motor needs to go WAY up.

for this being no more then 1k-1.5 k might just be the tax alone when you get everything you need for this project.

I'd just search clist for something turbo in that dollar amount and make it a monster if you want a toy.

Op we have a member here who also didn't want to spend any money for boost. He was looking at taking the turbo from his moms RDX and bolting it up to his G. Search for the thread. Lot of useful info for you in there.

A booster? Lol.... Here's a tip, if you don't know anything about forced induction, don't do it. You can't even get 2 good turbos for $1500, unless they are thrust bearing, which spool slow. 2 turbo manifolds alone will run you $1k minimum. Start looking in another direction

i'd recommend the turbonator route..you can go with twins and still have money left for a happy meal..maybe you'd be lucky and get a bov as a happy meal toy!!
Or instead of just being asses and trolling you could give some useful information. Like price range to be looking at good brand yes I don't know anything about it looked at one which cost 5k is that normal price range for these or is that crazy expensive or what. Just wanting solid information on this not hear from a bunch of kids who haven't done this themselves.

I'm all for helping people out on this forum instead of trolling them, but your post probably wasn't your brightest idea. A simple google search shows that turbo kits cost much more than 1-1.5k.Originally Posted by Daniel08

To answer your question (even though this should be obvious through google), a proper turbo kit (without shipping, tuning, installation, etc) will run you at least 4x your spending allowance.
