When I was tuned my cruise controls became a map picker. However, I'm really feeling like changing my steering wheel. The paint on my controls is fading and gone and the wheel is just ready to be replaced by something nicer. Besides extending the cruise controls wiring and finding a custom spot to mount it, do I have any other options or am I looking at buying something like turbo xs utec?

 

I would just relocate the controls. The biggest problem is that the switch for the cruise control uses resistors on a single circuit. So if you flick up it's a certain value, and if you flick down it's another value. I guess you could use a multimeter and figure it out though, but it would take time and effort, and you would still have to wire up switches for it all to work.

Personally, it'd be easier (and cheaper) to relocate the controsl somewhere else.
