2005 Infiniti G35 TwinCharged

Is it possible to Twincharge a G35 2005-2007?
If possible what brands should I use and what stage supercharger?

Yes anything is possible with enough money. Is it stupid? Absolutely.

Why would you want to twin charge? Yes it's possible but the Stillen supercharger SUCKS, and that's the only positive displacement blower for the VQ35DE/Rev-Up motor.

You could also go with a Centrifugal Supercharger but that defeats the purpose since a Centrifugal Supercharger doesn't start making boost until 3K'ish rpms anyways.

Just go with a mid mount turbo or a Vortech V2 T-trim or YSI blower and be happy.

Stillen may suck but they are the only ones that offer 50 state legal carb to pass smog and the tune is safe that it won't damage the car. If you don't like the tune, go some where else to tune it

Theory?

Has anybody tested a Twin-charged G35? Or has nobody ever tried it because in theory it wouldn't work?
What other company besides Stillen makes superchargers for G35s, cause I want one that whistles?

It was attempted once 6 years ago, but OP started it and then he disappeared. Most likely blew the motor and or seals on 2nd charger and never came back.

Considering that now a used G35 is worth 5-12k and a full FI system runs about 5-12k (x2) plus custom fab.... no you wont ever see it again.

Many turbos like JWT kit spool around 2500, no need for useless blower. The main reason for a twin blower setup would be to help spool a really large turbo. The VQ cannot take much boost stock, so a big turbo would be a huge mistake anyways.

So what kind of Twin Turbo setup would you recommend?
The best brand please, because money is not the issue for me.
Also at the final hp and torque could you tell me it's 0-60 time and it's maximum speed?

Money is always an issue. If it wasnt an issue, you wouldn't be driving a G35.

The momentum kit was arguably the best kit, but is no longer available. The JWT 530BB kit is very highly regarded and your best option. Some of the lowest lag and easily upgradable to 850BB turbos for big power on built motors.

Bench racing is a bannable offense here, so I wont go into talking about prospective 0-60 times that are 100% dependent on your specific setup and driving skill.

Depends on your specific car, which supporting mods you do, boost level, tune, type of dyno, ect. Install it, dyno it and tell us what number you got. Boost is addictive, no matter what you dyno, you are going to want more.

With no supporting mods and running waste gate psi on 530BB kit, it could be as low 350whp. With built motor, 850BB kit and 20psi, it could easy be 800whp+.

What do you mean by built motor?
I am not advanced with the terminology of items under the hood.
What does the psi mean for an engine or turbocharger?

How would this do on a 2005 G35?
http://www.turbokits.com/Infiniti/G3...urbo_Kit/2622/
I am not familiar with the terminology.

Do not go anywhere near AAM, they have blown more motors than any other company.

Stock motors are designed to be Naturally Aspirated (NA) and can only hold very little positive displacement (measured in psi). Too much pressure and your motor blows ups. Built motors are reinforced and internal parts replaced with forged components to handle much more pressure and power.

These treads will answer majority of your questions.

Alright well with the 850BB kit and 20psi @ 800+ whp.
What is an estimate of the maximum top speed?
Also how do G35s handle?

Built motor, supporting mods, and 850BB kit would run in the realm of 50k+.

Please do more research.
