Fuel / timing management system question
Fuel / timing management system question
Hey guys,
I have a ProCharger on the car and the crappy Aeromotive fuel management system that came with the kit. I am thinking about upgrading it to something that is easier to tune and that has some kind of timing retard on it. Can you guys suggest some units to start looking at? What should I be looking for? What makes one better than another?
Thanks!
Dave

2 come to mind
emanage...never seen it , but widely used
Split Second...can be custome made to add O2 sensor to the datalogging . Simple , but some what limited on what it can do

eManage is your best bet. You should completedly ditch the entire fuel system and FMU that comes with your kit. Instead, run a complete return fuel system with rising rate FPR, and Walbro 255, coupled with larger injecotrs (maybe 440cc depending on your power goals), and use an eManage with injector and timing harnesses to effectively control fuel and timing.
The eManage is significantly more powerful and tunable than the Split Second box.
