Counting down! Seven hours left!

Yep its time to run the car and see whats up! Cant wait to see my 1/4 mile times! Im not expecting too much because of my street tires but Im keeping my head up. Im going to borrow my buds digicam and take some video. I hope I can learn how to put it on my putor. If I do get it can anyone host it for me? Cant wait!!

Be careful telling people when you'll be away from home after posting photos of your misses in the coupe forum. I bet more than one of the guys who read that post are just waiting to "deliver flowers to the wrong address".

hahaha - Thanks for the idea Neff! Let's see if Expedia.com can get me there in time! j/j

good luck man, and keep in mind it's your first time to the strip with a new beast, so don't be discouraged if the times aren't what you expect... just enjoy the fact that you're there!

Well ****! You guys were pretty on! I pulled a 13.6 @ 108 mph. I have to get wheels for the track. The 20's and nitto 555's just dont cut it! But not to bad I guess. The car hasnt been tuned yet and this was the first time at the track in nine years!

Let me guess...no matter what rpm you took off in, you either hopped the rear axle or flew up to 7000rpm in first and then bogged down 2nd, or lost traction in 1st, 2nd and part of 3rd trying to feather it? That's a good time for your first time with the G FI'ed. Put some stock 18's on it wrapped in DR's and you'll hit 12's with a good 60'...what were your 60' times, btw? I'm betting between 2.2 and 2.3, right?

Sweet! That's what I was running on stock tires last year. I remember how dissapointed I was that I wasn't down in the 12's too. The way I look at it, I'm still faster than almost anyone on the street - and a lot better looking than all the old Mustangs at the track.

Randy = Randys_G
Steve = G352NV

G352NV was the guy that went to the track for the first time in 9 years...just a heads up.

However, Steve, I would like to see the vid. What were the responses from ppl there when they heard the SC? I always get props.
