wow a reply!! thanks hehe yea i actually just got done installing everything an hour ago i just didnt put the charger drive blet on so it is basically running N/A until i get my ecu back. Only regret is the strange air filter setup, i am running a custom Intercooler and it made piping a bit difficult. Seems like everyone is a vortech lover , oh well i got the kit for 1/2 the price brandnew so i cant complain.

The reason for everyone being a Vortec lover is because of the more than infrequent engine's being blown running the ATI set up... that plus most people don't like oil being spewed all over their engine bay. Let us know how your install and setup works. I'll be following your progress as will many others.

you're running a boost controller on a SC? I was under the impression you could only adjust boost on a SC by changing a pulley, not with a controller like you can on a turbo setup. am I missing something?

from what i have been told from the mustang guys at the track (that have SCs) they said that you could use the same method. I guess i wont know untill i try it, ill keep you guys updated. I have the entire setup installed just wating for the reflash to come back and ill be good to go. Aslo talked to a rep. at ATI and he suggested i go for a bigger pulley since my intercooler setup is much bigger then what comes with the kit. Im not so sure about that though. I dont want a big kaboom the first time i give it some gas. If anyone has an idea on how to put a filter befor the sc instead of with the intercooler piping let me know. I really hate the fact that filtering air is my biggiest problem. Thanks guys

Update on the my ati G, Car runs great almost fully complete. im hoping for 400whp. I just posted a vid of me pulling from a evo8 off the line but looks like that thread was erased? Only cons for my setup is the lowerend torque, since i installed the raceheaders seems like it a bit sluggish but im sure nothing some fine tuning cant fix. However the highend power is just crazy. The other con again is the lack of a "before blower filter" im still not a fan my blower being open to the enviroment. I will dyno the car this spring and post number also hoping to hit high 12s in the 1/4. Anyone recommend a good piggyback? thanks

I would think it would move more air by "pushing" it through an airfilter, rather than "sucking" it through a filter and starving the blower.

Keep us posted!

Hey guys I just installed mine a few weeks ago. I changed the kit a little to be safer and a much better tune that what it comes with it. Yes piping is a pain and the filter sucks donkey ***** but oh well.

Do NOT go with a bigger pulley! Who's doing your reflash? TS?

The prochager is by far a much better unit than Vortech some might not agree but to each his own. The oil isnt bad that gets ejected out. Plus you can put a filter or some sort of screen to absorb it. I dont think you will be happy with the Borla you lose a lot of backpressure which kills your torque but helps you with HP in the top end.

Let me know how you make out and if you have any questions. I think I know this setup with my eyes closed now.

I don't know why people keep insisting that ATI blows up engines. Any forced induction system out there not properly tunned will blow an engine including vortech. I have been running my ATI for well over 20K miles with no problems. The only thing that I don't like about it is that I have no air filter like the 350z guys have. Besides that, it is a great system. Hope you enjoy it and brings you much happiness.

I had 23k on the ATI and it was absolutely fine. It is a fine unit if you install it correctly and maintain it attentively. More than a dozen track days and many miles of grin making street driving.
