The Best Supercharger???

I want to supercharge my 2005 G auto. Any feedback on what supercharger is the best or most reliable without issues? Stillen looks good but do not want to mod the hood. Have seen procharger and HKS(hks is expensive damn!!!). Any feedback is welcome.

My vote goes for Vortech as well, but why buy a supercharger when the single turbos are almost out for the g. They will cost about the same and give you more power and tq.

I'd say Vortech if you're looking for a SAFE solution. The torque produced by ST or TT's tend to break things...I've yet to hear of one Vortech owner that broke ANYTHING if they left the kit alone out of the box.

Vortech for SC, but for same price you can get the Turbonetics ST or APS ST, with higher HP and Torque, however since you have a 5AT, its recommended you upgrade your " valve body " to handle torque power.

That *might* be because they've only been out for a couple of months and most people who've bought them haven't even reveiced them in the mail yet... Give them 1-2 years of running and my best is they'll be very similar to what we've already seen with the TT's. YMMV

Well the APS TT has been out for 8-9 months and still no damage. I believe most engine blow ups are due to bad tunes. APS comes with a locked engine management that has been tuned by highly experience APS engineer and can not be messed with.

and unless the car is tuned on the dyno or wideband, then its not tuned properly.

if they are just adjusting the fuel curve and timing without readouts for afr then it is just guessing.

i would hope anyone with a supercharger or turbo system on this car is tuning to precision.

is vortech the primary kit used in the g35 modding community?

There are quite a few folks with the vortech, but I am starting to see a lot of people getting the APS TT and ST. I wouldn't say there is a primary kit that is being used.

$4300 for satin finish and around $4600 for polished. This is what polished looks like.
