Vortech Fitment Question

I am in the process of looking around to become a new member of the FI community and was wondering whether or not the Vortech kit for the 350 Z can be installed on the G. Reason I am asking I found a used kit for a good price but it was off a 350. Can it be retrofitted to fit on the G. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My kit was an original 350z kit and with minimal changes (a couple of minor pipe bends and tucks) it was able to fit on my G35 sedan. The only issues were: (1) the wiring diagram was wrong and (2) the SS box tune out of the box was overly rich. If you have an installer who's experienced with wiring and you are planning to tune the SS box anyway, it's a gamble you might feel comfortable taking.

Yeah I just spoke to a sales rep a Forged Internals and he said the same that the problem would be with the Timing Control Box along with some minor pipe bends. I hate to turn down the opportunity at buying the kit $3200 for a barely used full kit. Although the rep gave me the idea that I could but the Greddy eManage system and give the car a better custmized tune for my car. But I am not sure if I should go for it??

I would not take the chance. $1200 more and you can get youself a brand new kit made for the g. Anyway fabricating these special pipes to fit your car will cost some money so it will come out less than $1200 to buy a new kit.
