Cheap Forced Induction

Many of us out here in G-Land want to go FI but can not afford to.

What do you think the cheapest (SuperCharge or Turbo) kit + easiest/cheapest install combo would be ??

W/ installation can it be done for under $5K total ?? under $4K ??

Thanx,

-RICH-

Vortech for sure, but look up the tilton clutch/flywheel assembly and 3.9 final drive..the combination can compare to some of the superchargers out there.

I don't like using the word cheap.....The least expensive ST would be the turbonectics. It will cost you $4600 for a new kit. The install is about $800 and no tuning is need cause they will reflash the ecu for you. This is part of the cost of the kit. Probably least expsive you can get will be $5400 without any gauges. S/C will be about the same.

Actually the turbonetics st will be cheaper than the vortech.

turbonetics $4600 + $800 (install) + 0 (tunning) = $5400
vortech $4500 + $800 (install) = $400-$500 (tuning) = $5700-$5800

dont forget to add the price of a new hood and body shop charges to paint that thing. Once you add all that up you might as well go with the ST for a couple hundred more.

stillen charger is a good excuse to get that carbon hood you;ve been wanting. cant beat it too, the stillen wont produce as much power as the other units but its a consistant power band that will be best for urban daily driver..

I seriously doubt the warranty will be transfered over to your car. A good buy none the less. I'd get it since it's so darn cheap!

I have a slightly used polished Procharger for sale for $3500. It cost me $800 to have it installed and $600 for a TS reflash. Thats $4900 for 370 rwhp! Polished, too
