revhighonline.com good/bad...need advice!!

I just need some advice, I have tried posting on some other forums and nobody can give me a straight answer. I am looking to buy a Greddy twin turbo kit from Revhighonline.com. I just want to see if there are any horror stories or anything before I spend like $6k on some parts.

Any info anybody has would be appreciated!

be careful. I know that a lotta people have done well with the Greddy but not to bash on the kit cause I think its nice but (and please no one on this forum take its personal) theres a reason why its the cheapest turbo kit. Rumor had it that 1-2 people have passed away from the kit cause the air bags didnt deploy but thats just a rumor? Also, the parts are nice but quality is so so. If I were you, I would research more into some of the other products. Please let me know if theres anything else.

Go to my350z.com and look in the FI section. A LOT of guys have blown their motors with the greddy.

They did a great job for me. Kyle is the guy I talked too.
I have no idea why people should hate on them.
Maybe they have reasons????????????

sorry you had a problem with them, but it still looks like even on that thread there were plenty of guys that had great service and you were an isolated problem. I know that wont fix your wheels, but it looks like the results are pretty in favor or revhighonline.

nismo- injectedperf did have the best price when I was shopping for my GT-Cs, but only revhigh could get the RBC finish in my size.

Nothing is wrong with the greddy kit as long as you get a tuned properly. Unlike the APS kit the greddy is not complete out of the box. That does not make the kit a POS. Not everyone wants a cookies cutter setup. If you are going to stay below 8psi then I recommend that you get the ECU flashed by TS instead of the using the emanage. Going this route does not leave room for tuner error. No one that I know that has gone with the TS greddy flash has blown their motor. There are several guys that have been running the greddy for 1 year or more and 30K plus miles with no issues.

No disrepect to APS, but their seem to be a lot of APS zombie fanboys now a days. APS is most complete kit out of the box but it does not suit everyones needs. With that said if you are looking for the safest plug and play kit then go APS. It is idiot proof. In fact there are several guys installing these kits in their garages. Most guys that installed the greddy kits in their garages went around the corner and KABOOM. ALTHOUGH THE GREDDY IS FAR FROM PLUG AND PLAY.

My advice is to do a lot of research on all the FI kits and then make up your own mind. Don't listen to anyone on this board especially when most the guys that are going to give you advice don't even have FI on their cars. Go to the FI forum on my350z.com as there is way more info there than here.

Good Luck!

the thread seems to have moved off topic, but nonetheless kamal actually does have FI on his car, and I believe he has the SSR/SFR twin turbo setup. but kamal and yourself are the only one's to provide the guy any relevant advice out of the 10+ posts thusfar!!

Off topic: i have read/heard alot of stories about revhighonline as well in the 1 year that I have been a member on this board. These are mostly stories about products taking forever to ship if at all and things of that sort. But as we all know vendors and things change with time and recently (past 3-4 months I havent read any bad reviews about them) and have never ordered so I cannot comment.
