The Procharger is not really protected from outside debris. There is a metal screen that goes over the opening, but no filter. It looks like the guard is missing, and it looks like a small bird may have been sucked in there....

As long as it moves freely I would imagine it will be fine. ATI had to know that some people would end up with compressors that look like this one. I would imagine that you will lose efficiency based on the lowered aerodynamics, and it may be a bit louder then others, but I would imagine it will still make boost.

Yes, we were very aware of the condition when we purchased it, but for the price and accessories I could not refuse it (greddy turbo timer, FMIC, Injectors, and more!). In regards of fixing the bent compressors - the procharger and head are being sent off to be rebuilt! So holepfully they will do what is best for boost and the car!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it and what injectors did it come with?

Got it from a local 350z owner for $3000. RC 440 Injectors - not sure who is installing it yet b/c i'd like to wait until some of the wedding stuff is planned first before going all into it My fiance is going to use the greddy turbo timer for his hatchback, but the guy I bought it from was using it with his SC. This will be my first hands on experience with building a motor and getting involved. Michael (fiance) has worked on cars ever since we met and I have grown into his hobby and now adopted his love for cars and cant wait to have more power
