Thanks for the pics!
I wonder how what THAT person chose to put on their ride. If it was a TT or an ST, of course they would tell you that. I would agree with THAT person if you are planning on upgrading your rods, but just keep in mind, the rods are the weak point in our engines and lots of torque breaks them. I've yet to hear of ONE Vortech SC G/Z with a blown motor.

well you said it....however the numbers are over 100 kits sold and so far only one failure as a result of what I heard was someone hitting 4th instead of 6th at WOT in 5th

Yeah, also the person claimed he was having problems off the bat with his car yet he choose to flog it before the problems were fixed. That could have contributed to the failure as well as the misshifting.

JRuss, is that your car they are gonna install the Turbonetics kit in? I just got my G a month ago and Billy was telling me about your car. When are you gonna do the install, think I could drop by the shop and check it out? Thinking about getting one myself.

I hear you Randy and I'm sure this won't change your mind but Tuan / Genesis Racing Dev. in Illinois has been running his Z at 500whp on a APS TT for almost a year and several thousand miles with no problems whatsoever. He beats on it regularly and lets his customers drive it. After talking to him in person, I'm convinced it's the tuning not the kit. He's actually going to push the motor even harder soon to prove his theory. APS continues to test Irshod's G35 from the same shop pushing close to that same whp with no problem either. That's why I've decided to go for it with the TTs.

I don't think its that far off. I saw some of the production pieces this weekend and saw the car running. I'll talk to Brad today and see what the ETA is...

The first G kit will start install today. I'll take some pics when I'm down at the shop later.
