Just kidding (insert non-offensive brotherly love nickname here).

I was refering to your post where you said there was only 2 or 3 people that you'd take FI advice from and I knew that you weren't talking about me. I'm just playin' around and having fun.

Now off to find a good place to buy gages, plugs and an oil cooler........

I think ther eI was just talkign about the so called advice you would get from these so-called 'installer' experts. Some poeple come to me asying well my installer worked on Lambos and Ferraris for 25 years, blah blah blah, and then when I talk to that person myself and find out their views on tuning, I wouldn't let him touch my car with ...ahhh... with a 10 foot oxygen sensor... LOL . On the other hand, their mechanical knowledge maybe and is in many cases top notch.

Tuning and turbos are entirely different things, as the latter is very intimately tied with the former, as well as to the characteristics of the engine and design that one needs to take into account when putting together an FI system.

Here is a good rule of thumb for one to consider only once you have all the background knowledge on engines, turbos, compression/turbine maps, efficiencies, intercooler characteristics, and all the other mechanical and tuning knowledge down (for someone who is dedicated, this is a matter of a seeral weeks of reading and research): how would NIssan design this car IF the primary objective was not emissions but pure power, not only safe but elegant tuning, and very well picked turbo size? To me, these objectives are achieved and surmounted only by APS, by faaarrr! Tha's why I am such a supporter of their designs and products.
