I agree 100% with this. My first tune was 420hp and 413tq @ 10lbs of boost on stock internals with UpRev tuning. The exact same kit on my friend's car only put out 373hp and simular torque but with UTEC. That's a huge difference in HP for just tuning.

I now run 6lbs of boost and with proper tuning it put out an impressive 375whp and 361wtq! I am a firm believer in proper tuning!

You're giving away too much info. A lot of people are taking flight right now to the 335i for twice the cost so let them.

Was this done on the same dyno and same temp? Are both running the same octane gas, timing, A/F? You cant just compare both without looking how the other car was tuned. At 10 psi the TN should make 400whp easy with Utec. Heck STS made 400whp at 10psi w/ Utec and that is with a non-revup motor and a much smaller turbo than what TN is running.

They both where tuned at the same shop, installed at the same shop, same 93 octane. His had utec, mine had UpRev. They were done on different days. The tune was what I was praising. His kit came off his car and onto mine, as he was upgrading to TT. Both were at 10psi. Once I dropped down wastegate springs to 6lbs, I was making the same power he was at 10psi with utec.

It is not that simple.. You dont know how they tuned the Utec and how conservative it was. If you have the map then send me a copy and I'll tell you if the tune was to conservative. At 10psi the TN should make 400whp with Utec unless the tuner has no clue tuning the utec and was running 10deg timing across the board with 10.5:1 A/F. Uprev has great drivability but that's all I'm going to give it credit because it has so many flaws and doesnt offer the protection you need especially on stock motor.

I see where you are coming from. I dont have the dyno sheets ,but mine are located on here if you would like to tell me what you think of them.

Dal35 was the other car I was referencing. He now has a TTset up with UpRev.
