TT kit

dont know if this has been posted before but found this @ my350z.com, ive seen the car before but didnt see the entire article. I know there has been some debates about this, cough, cough, 600HP, HKS only gets 360 with TT.

HKS is making a kit that you can run on your stock internals and not have any problems.

A custom set up will def have stock parts upgraded like pistons,rods,valves...and then their is no problem making lots of power...

with 10grand and a good shop you can get your VQ35DE upto 800HP EASY! if nissan doesnt release the GTR into the usa ill take up the project of making a 800RWHP G35 coupe...

HKS is not in the process of making a kit for the G35 yet. They are performing R&D on a 350Z and will decide whether to R&D a kit for the G35 coupe upon completion of their tests on the Z.

Any HKS kit you may have seen on autofiend.com is a custom kit designed by various garages in Japan to promote their garage such a Kansai Service.

Get your information straight before spreading unnecessary BS on these forums.

My knowledge of this stems from my continued involvement with this industry and our preparation for SEMA with our Import Showoff project G35.

First, all the turbo and SC boost kits are going to be conservative. Greddy has already found the limit. It seems to be around 470 hp. For safety, they are going to quote the boost and power low. That way, if you crank up the boost and blow the motor then you are responsible. Greddy made 393 rwhp at 7 psi and 440 rwhp at 10 psi. Above that, 'Z go boom.' What is strange though is that Greddy is using huge 18G turbos(good for 400hp each) in their kit. They may be betting that most of the people interested are going to rebuild the engine with better internals and look to stepping up. Top Secret's turbo kit is also supposed to have about the same level of power potential. HKS has yet to release details on their kit.
