2005 6spd Sedan: Want to SC

Are there any SC bolt on kits for the 2005 6spd Sedan as of yet? Will the new 7200rpm fuel cut be an issue? How is the timing retarded?

I got a reply back from Vortec that they have a kit that will fit. You won't need to go past 7200...

from what i've been told the kit is the same for any year G, all that changes is the out the box tune. so if you have an 05, you can get an 04 kit and tune properly to 05 specs. at least this is what i was told by CP Racing and since they know vortech S/C inside and out, i believe them

Your installing one in a few weeks? What size pulley are you going with? I was wondering if the engine can handle a 7200rpm with an SC with 3.33.

I got a reply from Chris Matye (cmatye@vortechsuperchargers.com).

I asked the following questions:

1. Can you clarify that your supercharger kit will fit my vehicle.
2. Do you have any tuners in the San Diego area that you would recommend?

His reply was

Vortech cannot verify fitment for your vehicle at this time
DAMN!

Thanks! Do you have a 2005 6spd Sedan or Coupe? It probably doesn't even matter either way though right?

vortech kits only fit 05 5AT, not the 6MT's, whether coupe or sedan.

so i have to wait until vortech comes out w/ this kit

I realize that but I was wondering if there is any real difference in the engine bay or engines of the 2005 6spds sedan or coupe?

I have the 05 6Speed Sedan... I have no idea what the differences are between sedan and coupe other than the following:

1. Sedan has 4 doors - Coupe has 2
2. Sedan has seating for 5 people- Coupe has seating for 4
3. Sedan has a single looking exhaust - Coupe's looks split
4. Sedan is wayyyy better looking

btw.. I just e-mailed them again yesterday asking them if they needed a test vehicle.. did not yet receive a response. hahha.

Should I even be offering for my car to be a test muel???Seems crazy but I'm like.. wtf, someone's gotta do it, right? Hmmm... lemme think about this again

Let me clarify some of the misinformation in this thread.

The Vortech kit for either the G35 or the 350Z can be made to fit on the G35. If you have a 2005 6MT Sedan, your best bet is to buy the G35 version of the Vortech kit--but you'll need to have it installed by a competent tuner who is familiar with the Split Second box AND has working knowledge of the R4 software. You will NEED to have your SS box tuned from the get-go or the car will likely not be driveable (probably too rich).

There may or may not be some slight modifications to intake piping required and you won't necessarily be able to trust the ECU wiring diagram provided in the Vortech installation instructions. However, you can get a wiring diagram for your ECU from Infiniti.

The 3.33 pulley should not be a problem but obviously the SS box will have to be tuned accordingly.
