Brian,

I live a few miles from GRD and was considering a similar build. I have a 5AT though...

Can you tell us what you did to your bank with the install and tuning so I can plan accordingly?

I'm here at GRD right now, she's a beast! Can't wait to get on the road. I'm deciding on where to place the gauges right now.

is that 442 at the wheels? I'm getting around 400 at the wheels (470 crank)...getting retuned as soon as I have time...CONGRATS!

I'll be getting my car very soon from GRD in Chicago. They've done a fantastic job so far and I thought I'd pass along the numbers on my APS TT. Tuan tuned it on a 93 octane map with 9lbs of boost. I'm sure some will say "your motor is toast!" but Tuan has been running his 350Z at 500whp for more than 11,000 miles on stock internals with no problems. After talking to him at length, I feel confident in his belief that my stock motor will be fine with these numbers. Especially since I can get 94 octane in Ohio. If not, I'll just build for more hp!

For a comparison, the baseline stock numbers are from Tuan's Z before any of his current mods.

Now, that's a god-damn thing of beauty! COngrats!!!! Take it easy your timing is right at 21-22 degrees, I would be very careful and ALWAYS watch out for pinging.

Do you have test-pieps and a really free-flowing exhaust I gather?

Yes, that dyno by GRD was measured at the wheels. 400whp is awesome with the Vortech. I have to say Randy, I really like your setup and thank you for being one of the first G35 FI pioneers.

Thanks Gurgen. Believe it or not,you were a influence on my decision to go TT. I've read much of what you and others have posted on how important tune is to reliability of FI and felt it was a small calculated risk to go for the additional power of TT.

Yes, I'm running APS test pipes, APS Plenum and Nismo Exhaust. Tuan/GRD really likes my Nismo and said it sounds better than his aftermarket on his 500whp Z. He said it flows very well.

Call or email GRDperformance.com, ask for Irshad. He'll give you a good deal if you go for more than just the TT.
