Its true. However there is someone on this forum with a Greddy TT on a 5AT. Just find a shop that knows what their doing and they should be able to make it fit and work on your G. Just remember the Greddy kit is not complete out of box. You'll need other parts to make it run safely. Needs a qualified tuner.

If you want reliability for a 5AT, go SuperCharger instead, either Vortech SC or STillen SC. Both carb certified. If you must go Turbo, probably an APS Single-turbo or Turbonetics ST. For Twins, APS TT or SFR/SSR TT. Pros and Cons for all FI kits, just do some homework to determine which suits your budget and your power goals.

i was really interested in vortec sc, but the company site says they only designed for 6mt only. is there anyone who has vortec sc on a 5at? what has to be done to make sc work properly on 5at?

I'm getting my Greddy TT's put in. i dropped the car off on thurs and i've been helping out at the shop. So far the Intercooler, turbo manifolds, greddy oil pan, oil lines, reservoirs relocated, wastegates on.... Hopefully we'll be done on monday. BUT, I dunno if its just me and this shop's lack of expertise but things don't really seem to fit like they should. We often find ourselves struggling to reach the nuts and bolts... Does greddy make bad kits? Did I buy the wrong brand? Is APS better?

Oh boy! My best advice to you is to do some research on the 350z site about the greddy kit. I wouldnt even start the car without doing some research.

The guy with a Greddy TT on an Automatic is called TXREFI on the forums. He is in Dallas. He had his work done at IDPG, the same place that installed my kit. The guys there talked about having to install a bleed valve, but once everything was worked out that guy is putting down over 500 whp. Give him a PM and ask him about it.

The only thing better about the APS TT IMO is 1. It comes with ball bearing turbos and 2. It is more complete out of the box. This does not mean the greddy can't be make as complete.

Before you drive that thing make sure you have an ignition harness and map sensor harness for tuning. Run it at stock boost and before you start boosting more psi you need to get a fuel return system and walbro 255 fuel pump. If you are going to stay at stock boost I would just go with technosquare and have your ECU flashed with the greddy tt map. I have not heard one motor blowing up that with map. Eitherway make sure you the fuel pump and a blow off valve.
