So I ran into some money

I've started my own business (yes at 17) And projected sales are going to be amazing.

I've been back and forth on vortech or stillen superchargers. I'm 95% sure I want to grab a vortech.

What should I do to my car first to get it ready for a vortech?

My father is in the cabinet business. I've been working part time with him. We came up with a really amazing idea to improve a selling tool for one of the lines we sell. It will be a lot of work putting the tools together but the payout will be huge.

Very true. And I completely agree. However my business is not my question at hand.

Interesting point- I've never considered Single Turbos.

What kind of numbers are you getting with that? Boost, '60, 1/8 1/4 0-60? Torque HP?

How much was the kit and where did you get it? How much for a profesional install?

Haven' gotten my Turbonetics kit yet. Release should be in a month for the G35. The G35 kit comes with a set of fans for the FMIC so drivers can keep the stock front facia.

Price was $4350 from Avalon. Boost is @ 8psi for about 380 whp and 360 wtq out of the box. Tons of kits are on the 350z's. There has been a blown motor with this kit for the Z. However, the kit wasn't the cause of the problem. The guy downshifted into the wrong gear.

I don't know the times for the 1/4 mile on these kits. Go to the FI section @ my350z.com. Read read and read somemore. There are tons of FI applications out there and maybe the SC would be best for you, or even the TT would be best. Make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into. Remember, most important aspect of any FI is about TUNING. There are a couple of APS TT's running @ 400 - 500 whp on a stock block for over a year. Tuning is key.

Well, I have a 5AT, ANd i'm not really looking for AMAZING POWER, TT sounds pretty risky for me, I don't want to take that dive.

I've been reading and reading as much as I can, TS is starting to sound really good.

I have some time before I get the money anyway =). Best do my homework now tho.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I didn't think the APS kit has been out that long.
