QUAD TURBO G35 Coupe...
Quad turbos? Geez, that's kinda Nigel Tufnel-esque (Spinal Tap). He had the guitar with 5 double humbucker pickups on it. Sorry to bore you guys, since most will have no idea what I am talking about.
Needless to say, I think 2 turbos are just fine!

Well said.
That exact combo (turbo + stroker) is the new "hot" setup in the Supra world for those road racing the car. The 3.4l conversion (from3.0l) has virtually no effect on ultimate power production, but torque in the lower end of the powerband is increased dramatically. This gives great "pull" out of corners without a traction-breaking hit from the turbo (s).
The dynos look like a N/A application instead of Mt. Everest.

What cylinders are going to go to what turbocharger. That is the problem. You could do 4 turbos on the V8. Why don't you do that. Something tells me you haven't seen a TT G35 up close because if you had you would see how tight a fit 2 turbos are much less 4!
I was thinking about the AEBS kit but I definitely don't have the cash for both TT and AEBS. I spoke with Tuan from GRD about which option I should go with (TT or AEBS) and he said to go with TT because I would get more lower end power from a TT and the AEBS would be more sluggish (if I understood him correctly). But both AEBS and a TT would be awesome (besides gas milage that is).
I remembered seeing a quad turbo skyline gtr a while ago however I just realized it was a v12 engine and not the RB26 inline 6. So I guess a quad turbo really wouldn't match with a 6 cylinder.
Hmmm.
Now i remember someone mention tri-turbo, you may be on to something here...
I found this:
http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-200...LK-320-CDI.htm
Its an 05 SLK tri-turbo. True, its a diesel but the question is, is it possible on the vq and would it fit in the g35 engine bay. Last I recall the slk engine bay is not that big. Fellas?
By the way djniknala, u'r right, I haven't seen a TT g35 up close. anyone in indiana giving free rides in thiers?

Thanks for the idea chilibowl. But really... stop encouraging me.
hehe.
BTW the link below explains the tri-turbo in more detail:

i guess you could, in theory, have sequential turbos on each bank, ... giving you a quad turbo V6. Of course the complexity of turbo sizing/location/management would be another story.

I guess one of the perks of working for the worlds largest manufacturer and designer of diesel engines and turbos is that there are a lot of engineers a few feet down hall with crazy ideas on how to get power out of my car. So I go down and tell a friend that I'm thinking about getting a TT and next thing I know I'm in the parking lot of my office with a partial engine and turbo design team wanting to take apart my car and try out some of thier theory's on tri-turbo setups speaking so fast and throwing out so many technical terms that I feel like I 1st grader amongst college students. Its at this point I ask the question that how many people have worked on a gasoline engine and when 1 out of the 7 raises their hand I realize that I can't afford to 'experiment' with my g. Thats what Tinman is for
If you want to do quad turbos I'm pretty sure that you could fit quad Aerochargers because they don't require any special placement, they are small, self lubercating. Those are the ones they use for TT NSXs. The only thing is finding an Aerocharger with the right compressor map to match your efficiency goals.
