400 rwhp at 6.5 psi...Is it possbile?

Well, we all know the G can make over 400 rwhp at 8+ pst of boost......but is is possible (with the right setup) to hit over 400 rwhp with just 6.5 psi? I think the max on a street driven car with test pipes is going to be about 390 rwhp or even close to 400. There are so limits to this question: 1) No nitrous. Even a 50 shot could put you over 400 so that doesn't count. 2) The car cannot use any parts that are not "fair" and are considered "cheating" to inflate dyno numbers. Examples of these are, but are not limited to, race gas, removing front end, no air filter, etc.

I think an APS system could get there with the right tuning and surrounding mods. The Greddy TT would take a little extra work in terms of fuel return and tuning. Not sure if a SC could get there even on the best of days.

Let's here it....do we think it's possible.....

The first G we ever did with our SFR turbo kit made 402 at the wheels on a Dyno Dynamics at 6.5 psi of boost on 91 octane gas. This was two years ago. So it is possible.

Good for them. That is encouraging to hear....Any idea what their set up was? The only reason i ask is because I am attempting to do the same. So I was just seeing if it was a realistic goal.

Thanks

It's realisitc on the OEM 10.3:1 SCR, but I noted in your thread your down to 8.5:1. At that lower SCR and stock displacement it is very unlikely.
