Thanks and I agree but I also can't stand by and let something get discredited without challenging it. I'm not a track guy, it's hard enough to get time away from work and family to just enjoy a drive.

Check the trap speed, thats the indicator of HP/weight and I'll wager they are far closer in that measurement. All of us IRS cars have to be very carefull launching because of wheel hop and axle breakage.
All bets are off when the road turns twisty then the IRS shines.
To add to that , in order to get the Z ang G (both IRS) to handle well, the camber is set significantly negative. What this does is "unload" the outer inch or so of the rear tires when launching in a straight line.

And again since the cars come with large rear brakes , especially on track models or those with 4 wheel BBK kits it is not possible to mount up nice sticky MT ETs which are most commonly found on 15" wheels. Most all domestics can accept the smaller 15" wheel.

Basically these cars are designed for street/road course use , "not" drag use.

Just wanted to clear up a little bit about GRDs Dynapak that Brian AND I had our cars dyno'd on. I know the general consensus is that Dynapaks put out higher numbers than dynojets. This may be true for most of them, but the Dynapak at GRD definitely does not. I've run 11.72@120mph in my 350Z on the same boost Brian has...and my car dyno'd 430whp on GRDs dynapak. I've yet to see another car around my power on a dynojet trap 120mph...in fact the cars that dyno around what I do typically only trap 116-120mph. Trap speed is the best indicator of power and based on my trap speed 430whp would almost seem a little LOW if anything. I know I'm bringing a thread back from the dead...but I just wanted to give my .02....

I have a calculator for trap speeds to hp to the flywheel . And at trap speed of 120mph and a 3500lb car [ 3300 +200 driver ] is 567 hp to the fly wheel . That would make 500whp for a MT6 and 480whp foe AT5

My friend and I plugged my dyno into Cartest...which is a very accurate simulation program..and with my 430whp dyno we came up with 11.6@121mph...which is VERY close to what I actually ran.

I don't think my car makes anywhere near 500 to the wheels..

My car weighs 3225lbs and I weigh 175lbs...so it's 3400 with driver.

I had my car weighed at the track and it was 3225lbs with a 1/4 tank of gas and no spare.

Thanks for the good points BriGuy. My point continues to be that I gained 200whp with the APS TT over my baseline dyno of 240whp on a Dynapack. There's no way around this fact. Which means 200whp + 242whp = 442whp.

How's the car running? I re-dyno'd the other day to make sure my A/F was still good when I turned up the boost. New dyno numbers are 440rwhp @ 9psi and 460rwhp @ 10psi

It runs fantastic, especially with the cooler weather. I just can't get traction.
Even with 285s on, my rear tires have no traction. It's a little crazy when my rear end wiggles while pulling hard through 3rd gear. I can't imagine what the pull would feel like if I could hook up.

Wow, 460whp! How does additional 20whp feel?

With my DRs in the warmer weather I hooked without a problem in every gear. With the cooler weather I spin a little in first...but it hooks the rest of the way and feels amazing...

There's not a huge difference...it's pulls slightly better...we'll see what it does for my trap speeds the next time I go to the track.

Did you miss the part where I've run 11.72@120mph in my car? I'd say that's doing a pretty good job with 430rwhp...
