There are quite a few AT owners on this forum that has SC on their baby. The best advice I can give is by directly calling vortech and asking them about SCing an AT.

If you call them they will say it is only for the 6 speed but the truth is it is not, there are many of us who have the system on our cars. This question has been answered before, do a quick search.

How many of you with the 5AT Vortech equipped cars have the issue of the car basically cutting out during/right after a shift (in drive AND manumatic mode). I've been in cars that haven't, but others that have and Vortech says it's normal and they all will. But I'm curious how the cars that don't cut out, get rid of that "issue". Is it all in Vortech's black box's tuning?

You need to have your rev limiter raised to 7,100rpm with a ECU flash . Then it shifts fine

Hey I'm looking to get a 2006 5AT coupe.
I was wondering. Is yours auto or manual?
Anything other than the vortech kit you needed for your car?

IM not sure now, Butt' I did order a vortech kit for a 05 6mt (REV-UP) and waited and waited and waited.
They had no such kit for a rev-up engine at that time so I told them to "EAT ME"
The problem with the stalling problem was a vacuum dip that was caused by not letting the timing come back up to specs at low rpm's.
