Anyone With a 2005 Coupe and a Tubro kit??

Just wondering if any 05 coupe owners have a turbo kit and the specs. I have heard that it is harder to tune a turbo to the new REVUP engine in the 05s... I am planning on getting one in the newar future, and am researching different co.

I know a few of you guys have the Greddy Snails, and i have been reading about the new Power Enterprise turbo. Its a complete kit (intercooler, injectors, pump, etc.) and is about 7.5k

Also interested in your guys comments or opinion on the greddy TT. Perosnally i want to wait for a single turbo kit, but these looks interesting. Here is a link to one of the sites providing insight:

You can also look at the Speed Force Racing Twin Turbo, and both APS turbo kits because they are compatible with the 05. I believe it is "Paranormal" on the board here who has the APS TT on his 05 coupe.

Our JWT TT kits are awesome, and work perfect on the '05 Z's and G's. In fact, we took in another customers '05 today to TT it.

So this elusive JWT TT kit is in your hands? I thought it was still awaiting its last carb approval test before it was released??

It hasn't come out yet and is still waiting approval. most likely the customers car will sit half done in a garage till jwt removes the prototype badge off the kit. i usually wait till parts are at the shop before i drop off my baby. vrt, please correct me if i am wrong because i'm not trying to start anything, just saying until the kit is released to the public that car will be a 'shop' car.

Interestingly enough, an email I recieved from Ben Pila, Technical and Sazles Support JWT, states that the kits are only for the '03's, and that they will be working on kits for other years and a sedan and auto version AFTER the '03 6MT Coupe version is done.

Now, that is quite important to me, as I have an '05, and a big bundle of cash saved from being in Iraq, and one of the first things I want to do when I get back in November is turbo my G, and I have decided on the JWT as my system of choice. Hopefully that bundle of cash won't burn too big a whole in my pocket.

Dave, I see you have Kaneohe for your location, ... if you are still over there, I highly recommend going to Vakamon Motorsports to do the work on your car. I can hook you up with the shop owner, and I know they will take care of you. He has a few shop G/Z's and has done a lot of the G/Z's on the island, and his G35 will be in the Road and Track Speed Mag in a comparison with a Noble and new Z06!! PM me if you want more info.

Well, most of my work I do myself, although I will probably be paying someone to do the turbo install. I am still in Kaneohe (though currently enjoying the peaceful climate of Ramadi, Iraq), and when the JWT finally comes out, I will keep them and you in mind.

What benefits of the JWT over APS? Unless its personal preference?

I remember some one commenting that the APS is "over-designed", meaning just that. Kit is made more complicated than it had to be, meaning more expensive kit, and more money spent installing/tuning.

VQ: One of our shop cars is an '05 and we installed and tuned an APS TT System on it. We had no problems with the tuning. If you need any more specific info, please feel free to send me a PM or e-mail me at chris.c@brainstormperformance.us

I'd be more than happy to assist you throughout your journeys to the world of forced induction

To me, the JWT has a proven track record with Z cars, from 240Z's all the way to the 350Z (which includes the G35).

Additionally, all the reviews I have read so far, comparing the (as yet unreleased) JWT system compliment it as the quietest, most professional, most stock looking and stock acting (other than the increased power, that is) and overall, highest quality.

Thats not to say that the other systems suck; from what I have read, the APS is rather nice as well. But for my daily driver, JWT is my choice
