CAI. By-Pass Valve, & SuperCharger

I was reading on the AEM web-site and they do not recommend having the by-pass valve on the CAI if the engine is forced inducted. Is anyone here running a supercharger with a CAI and a by-pass valve? Has anyone else heard of this?

I don't know a lot about SC cuz I went TT so this may not sound right, but having a bypass on the CAI for an SC seems like it COULD work. The only requirement would be that the bypass valve is set before the impeller and doesn't interfere with the MAF. Obviously the Bypass cannot be made once the system had built pressure so as long as it is before the impeller I imagine it would be OK.
