Vortech with (re)built short block (*long*)
I cant remember the exact settings for when the fuel pump should come on , but you may have had it set to run all the time . If your A/F was in the 9's all the time when boosting . Its possible you flushed the cyl. walls with fuel . And I've heard this may cause the crank bearings to go bad
I've also dropped my compression to 9 to1 with cams . havent notice a loss of trq. down low at all . My motor is out right now and dropping the comp. down to 8.5 to 1 . Upping the boost to 16 to 18psi
