I cant remember the exact settings for when the fuel pump should come on , but you may have had it set to run all the time . If your A/F was in the 9's all the time when boosting . Its possible you flushed the cyl. walls with fuel . And I've heard this may cause the crank bearings to go bad

I've also dropped my compression to 9 to1 with cams . havent notice a loss of trq. down low at all . My motor is out right now and dropping the comp. down to 8.5 to 1 . Upping the boost to 16 to 18psi

it's located in the alternate setting screen of the SS software...allows you to determine when the aux fuel pump comes on and mine was set at 7lbs! I set it at 3lbs...
