For those of you that have gone FI and has done some engine work. What do you guys do about insurance? 15k under the hood or more, how do you get a sense of security? Custom Insurance?

Call your agent - get a "rider" that has additional coverage for aftermarket parts.

I'm not sure if its the same with cars as with bike, but a buddy of mine had his engine bored out among other engine mods on his bike and when he crashed it, insurance would not cover it! It was classified as a "custom or race bike" due to the mods. Check your policy carefully as each company has their own set of rules.

I have GEICO too. Please post back and tell me what they say. I've been putting off the call for a while now.
