Get the DTC from the computer and then we'll try and help. You're not giving us much to go on.

I install mine no service engine light but the vdc. the alinment was off 143. so that might be your problem with the vdc.

If it takes a while to start the car it could possibly be a crank angle problem. Once the car is started, how does it run? Check the codes and give us some more info.

i can think of two possibilities: car is not getting enough fuel pressure to ignite. the CAS wire is not installed. double check everything and make sure they're all secured.

are all the vacuum hoses connected properly? is the CAS wire installed properly?

on a returnless fuel system equipped car that has been modified to a return system, it is imperative to add a bit of gas to crank the car.

could you elaborate on that point? this is the first time i'm hearing someone say this and i was curious if you could explain since i'll probably be going with a return style setup come FI time

Did you reset the ECU per APS instructions? Did you do the fuel pump update by drilling out the swirl jet? When you took the steering shaft off did it move from the orignal spot?

i really don't know the specifics to why this happens but i think it's because of the initial fuel pressure during cranking. but i talked to sharif of forgedinternals.com, and he too has to add a bit of gas in order to crank his car with his GReddy TT and AAM fuel return system.
