It is up to you, The JWT clutch will last longer, have more gripping power (stronger), and IMO, better feel. Combined with the JWT light weight flywheel should be noticeably more responsive and worth it.

The first 500 miles you will say " wtf have I done", but then it gets much better. It does take a little while to break in, or in some cases, learning how to drive it.

I've had mine for over a year now and think it's much better than stock, as far as "rippin on it".

You will have some chatter at low rpms in 2nd and 3rd. My advice is to "change gears".

I bought mine for fear the stock would not hold the hp with the supercharger. Looking at my stock clutch I already had some "hot spots" on it. (10k miles n/a)

Good Luck!

IMHO it's one of the best mods I have ever done! My clutch started slipping a bit and I did allot of research and the JWT won hands down! Pedal feel is great (releases just off the floor), grabs MUCH better than the stock one. Overall the only thing you need to be ready for is a bit of chatter. I have gotten used to it and the only time I really notice it is when I am sitting at a drive thru. I would make the purchase again if needed and thats something I can't say about most of the other mods I have done to date. If you decide to do it call Paul at Avalon Racing, great guy, great price, great service!

Does the noise get annoying at any point? If you buy new gears would the noise continue?
Do you have Pauls number?

i hear a lot of 350 guys using the tilton flywheel and clutch combo. They seem to like it and i know it makes the car revv like a SOB. Anyone here using that combo as i am very interested to see what kind of response it is getting from its users. I know it has to have some pretty mean chatter during engagement.

could be that also, but RPS for the Z could also be a act unti, which in turn is an exedy clutch.

I feel that the stock clutch is good for around a solid high 300 to low 400 whp. With a fi set up it is highly recommended to upgrade the clutch, or wait till' it goes out and then do it......Hahaha!

I hate the 05 Stock Clutch/Flywheel. My 04 Stock was hell of a lot better. Wish I still had it cause I would be turbo'd now instead of waiting, R.I.P..

What would be the absolute best clutch for the 05's? Aren't the 03-04 single plate stock and the 05 dual plate?

Well get this ****ing ****... my 05 Stock Clutch/Flywheel crapped out on me tonight. I ****ING KNEW IT!!!! I couldn't move an inch, just reved up making that nasty *** smell. Sat on the side of the road with 2 of my friends chillin for about 45 minutes til a tow truck came.

Should I let Infiniti replace it with another stock, or what should I do?? Please, what is the best available regardless of the cost. I plan on doing a Single Turbo when they get the kit ready, so keep that in mind. Please help, as I need to make a decistion very soon, hopefully some vendors are reading these posts and can help out.
