The suspense is killing me so... HKS SC is in the works!
Well, I guess most of the locals (and some of the guys on the forum) already know by now that my secret is out...My car is on the way to AAM in MD to have the HKS Super Charger and HKS Navigator installed.
My baby left this afternoon on the trip to AAM, needless to say I am a nervous wreck because I have to work and couldn't go with it.
As far as I know and please let me know if I am incorrect, mine will be the first privately owned G coupe in the states to have this kit installed. I know HKS has a project G they are working with so technically it's not the ONLY one.
I am really pumped about the project and can't wait to get behind the wheel again. It should be back on Wed or Thursday at the latest and I will hopefully have the Dyno numbers to post up.
I was a little leery at first and I waited until AAM was able to actually tune the kit as opposed to having just the plug-and-play set up that most people are familiar with.
I know most could care less about it but I am pumped and just thought I would share

^ I hope so man, its been a pain so far. The car is 750 miles away and the install time has gone from 2 days to 4 so now I get to either fly or have a buddy of mine drive all the way back up to get it hopefully Saturday night. I guess thats the down side of having to do a custom set up. I had worried about it being done that quickly to start with but its in good hands at AAM...I hope

We'll do, I should have some pics of some of the install later tonight. Nothing exciting yet though. They are just getting started and they are going to have to replace the AC line with one from a 350Z. I noticed some of the other guys with other kits having to do this esp. the TN kit. Everybody just keep your fingers (and toes) crossed that they don't run into any other snafu's

Thanks! Another one on a G coupe? Iv'e been trying to find out if there are any others other than HKS's test car? Have you seen or heard of another? I'm still anxiously awaiting the outcome; needless to say it's been a rough last few days! I can't wait to see the final results and more so drive my newly force inducted baby!!!!

Still waiting on my baby to be done and get some pics back. AAM ran into the AC line being in the way of the IC piping. They are gonna use one off of a Z to cure the issue. I noticed Gump ran into an issue with the AC line on his G as well. Is this the same on anybody else that has done FI on their G?

I've been looking all over the place. Like I said before I know HKS has one and there is a guy (jgsm) a guy from Taiwan has one on a sedan. That's the only other one that I know of so far.

Well more bad news
I just found out my car still wont be ready for me to pick up tomorrow night... DAMNIT!!! I can't wait to have FI but man this has been one stressfull week! Especially since my baby is 850 miles away. I told them to not rush I want it to be right no matter what. But the 110lb, 5'1" redhead that I conned into this whole thing is NOT a happy camper! I hopefully will get some more pics but so far the only opics I have from them are ones with the bumper and intake removed so not much to look at, they are telling me they have the SC installed but not any of the mounts or IC because they ordered the wrong AC line. Just thought I would share my pain
