Is teh vortec that loud and abnoxious?

The Stillen is much more louder than I though . You can barely hear the APS cars exhaust over the whine of the SC . Cool vid

 

I would prefer the APS. But I love the Stillen, very happy as you guys can see by the videos. The stillen is no slouch. The reason I have the stillen is warranty and I will pass smog. I don't know what people do with the TT's in cali.

Def sounds like that Viper mis-shifted. And damn, that Stillen SC is LOUD!

 

stillen rocked....... i had no idea it moved that fast..... what did it raced against?

 

What did the stillen race against? it was a greddy TT 350z with 390 whp. or the aps TT with 445 whp 350z in black. they all have stock internals and we all had some kind of drag tire. The greddy I think had a disadvantage becauce he was running some autox tires. But they were still much better than regular street tires. I the g35 had bfg drag radials on my stock rims. 265-40-18. For all out there watching this the drag radials are the most important thing at the track once you go FI. It is why we are getting decent times. all that power you get from FI is useless if you dont have tires that stick. Its all about the launch...

I know what you mean. I love actualy going to the track with a car that isn't , well -just slow. The feel of the power is pretty much the funnest thing to do. That HKS s/c your getting enjoy it i'm sure it'll kick a ss. Go and kill some new mustangs they think they cant be beat. Maybe a N/A gto or two.

 

The Stillen SC Whine is very unique.. I love that metallic sound.. Insaneness!!!

 

It was a fun day and I'm glad I hit a new personal best with 12.100 even though it's frustrating since the elevation is so high and that would have been easily 11 second runs at sea level, oh well, in april I'll hit 11's
