Zeitronix Troubleshoot

Got my car back yesterday with the TN install. I had the Zeitronix digital gauge installed with EGT/Wideband/Boost.

I was driving the car today and the gauge froze up on me.. It's displaying the same values.. Won't update with new #'s. I've shut off the car and checked my control unit and the wiring seems fine? I mean it's just a phone line looking wire and a Cat 5 wire!

The display looks like it's working because I can hit the little tab button on the side of the box and it changes over to the other display.. Just the information/data isn't updating.. Keeps saying the same damn thing.. even right after booting it up...

Anyone know what's up with it?

I started the group buy for thoses a while ago.

My best advice to you, would be to unplug the power to the control unit, if its alot of work for you and you arent sure that will fix it, i suggest emailing the owner (the email on www.zeitronix.com goes to his email), he will get back to you very quickly. He is a great guy to work with.

What do you mean by power wires? The actual power and ground that power the control unit? Opposite side of the Cat 5 and Telephone wire?

Mine did that a few times but the problem was that telephone cord wire was loose going into the control unit. I made it more sturdy and it hasnt happened since.

This was my old unit and it worked PERFECT for the couple months I had it. I would suggest you check all your connects. I didnt use the phone wire that came with the unit. I used a longer one. That wire MIGHT be the problem.
