I see what your saying but don't entirely agree. A dual would provide more exhaust flow creating less backpressure. This would allow the turbo to spool quicker.

not if the single pipe is a large diameter. (3", 4" piping)

The 4" would increase exhaust flow but how many of these kits are out there? I still think a dual 2.5" would perform better. It should even improve velocity because of 2 smaller pipes.

Thanks.

What you think doesn't matter. We need to get some actual dyno numbers out there to compare the cold hard facts!

That is just my opinion. How about you take on the task of finding the facts since your so quick to point out my thoughts don't matter. This was a discussion board the last time I checked....

Later.

Peoples' uneducated opinions are the cause for rumors. False information spreading around the board is the worst possible scenario. A discussion board is a tool that should be used to spread information that is helpful and correct!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when it comes to matters such as what makes more power than something else, I believe that you should not say anything at all if you don't have any concrete facts! I'm hoping someone can chime in with some tangible numbers to compare in order to either prove me wrong or prove me right! Either way, we need EVIDENCE!

Well, you can always custom fab a piece. Thats actually what I'm thinking of doing If I go with the Turbonetics ST kit

I would get a management system before putting a 4" on though LOL.

I haven't seen a 4" on a TN G yet. Only 4" I've seen are on turbo Supras.

I've seen a couple of big turbo hondas running 4" exhaust and putting down 700+ wheel hp runs ...

Bottom line: Turbo does not like back-pressure!

I agree with what you said above but, as I stated, "That is just my opinion." If someone wants to take it as fact, that's their deal. These boards are here to educate people. If only "Facts" were discussed, there would be limited discussions to help advance our cars. Hopefully someone who has tested this scenario will advise of which is best. If not, maybe this thread will get some to do it......
